This online version of our Annual Sustainability Report presents information in a way that is rather different from what you might be used to on other websites. We have split up the entire report into several articles. Each article has keywords linked to it, which you will find in the menu on the left. You can search the report by clicking on a keyword. Each subsequent click will refine your search: after each click on a keyword, fewer articles remain that correspond to your search. This allows you to quickly drill down to the information you want, from a variety of perspectives.
Example:
Suppose you want to find out how Rabobank is dealing with the issue of climate change.
Your first action might be to click on ‘Issues’ (see figure 1). The list of search results shows 34 articles that meet your search, giving both the titles of the articles and a brief description of their contents.
You might then click on ‘Climate and energy’ (see figure 2). The list of search results only shows articles that cover both ‘Issues’ and ‘Climate’. Five articles meet this search.
Clicking on ‘Policy and strategy’ refines the number of results to three.
The article entitled ‘Climate change crucial element in Rabobank CSR policy’ tells you that climate change is a crucial element for Rabobank.
At the top of the page, you will see the search path you followed to arrive at this information. However, you can click the keywords shown in any order to arrive at the same article.
Furthermore, your can deselect a keyword during your search by clicking on it in the search path. You may then select other keywords to refine your search.
